Martin & Gina Goethche
Owners and Directors
Born in Denmark, Martin began ballroom dance instruction at the age of three. He danced in amateur competitions before he was ten years old, and was a finalist in all the major Danish Dance Sport Championships in the children, junior and youth classes.
Gina comes from Munich, Germany and started to dance at the age of fifteen. She competed very successfully at the amateur level with several partners and was the German Champion in the Latin American dances (A-level).
In 1990, Martin and Gina began their partnership as competitive ballrooms dancers. Their titles include the Danish 10-Dance Champions and Austrian Latin and 10-Dance Champions. Martin and Gina were also finalists in the World and European 10-Dance Championships and in the World Latin Showcase Championships.
Peter Hahn
(dance instructor / choreographer)
Peter joined us from Stuttgart, Germany in 2007. Peter has been dancing since he was 6 and specialized in Standard at the age of 15. Among numerous titles he placed 4th in the highest amateur division at the German Championships and won one of the most prestigious dance competitions in Germany- the blue banner of Berlin. He taught for several years in Germany and decided to share his joy of movement with the Fred Astaire Family.
Since then he has competed successfully in both smooth and rhythm at regional and national events.
Jude Coraldi
(ballroom dance instructor)
Originally from New York, Jude began her dance training at a young age. She studied ballet, modern, tap and jazz with artists such as David Otto, former principal of the New York City Ballet as well as receiving the Silver with Distinction American Academy of Ballet Performance Award. She furthered her passion for dance and graduated from Dean College with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance with the Dean College Trustees’ Prize in Dance. During this time Jude was accepted into the Bates Dance Festival, The Radio City Rockettes Intensive and the Alvin Ailey Summer Program.
Since then, Jude joined the Fred Astaire Team in 2009 and is now the New England Fred Astaire Smooth Champion with her partner Peter Hahn. Jude enjoys sharing her excitement and love for dancing and hopes to encourage the development of movement in everyone’s everyday life.
